About Me
Hello, my name is Kathryn. I reside on Eastern Long Island. I am an experienced graphic designer with many years in the field, and currently an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk County Community College. I teach computer graphics, graphic design and fine arts in the Communication Arts Department.
Beyond my professional roles as an educator and graphic designer, I am deeply passion about photography, fine arts, and spending time in nature. I hold a particular affection for U.S. National Parks and state parks.
I am actively involved in the art community through memberships in various art organizations and frequently exhibit my work. In addition, I am a co-founder of Good Ground Artists, a local artist group with over thirty members.
My Skills
My design and technical skills are exceptional with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft, and Google Apps. I continuously update my knowledge and skills in graphic design, information technology, and fine arts by taking courses and staying current.
My Experience
In the field of graphic design, I have worked for Acadia National Park, local government, corporate entities, publishing companies, non-profit organizations, advertising agencies, and design studios. Additionally, I have volunteered my skills for a local historical society, aquarium, and various art venues.
